Quest complete screen for Desert Treasure II

It is done. I started this quest in April, it broke me and I took a three month break, and it's done! The hardest quest in Runescape (when I started it anyway), a monumental quest full of exciting, interesting bosses - and also some downright frustrating ones. Ultimately I did have a lot of fun with this quest and I'm genuinely quite proud it's done. I'm also relieved, extremely relieved, because now I can take things nice and easy for a while!

Rather than rush into the next quest, I'm working on a few other little side projects.

Firstly, and rather unexpectedly, while I was training woodcutting I acquired this little guy:

Sitting down with a beaver

On the blisterwood tree that I was chopping, the drop rate of a beaver is about 1 in 289,286. So pretty rare! If you're unfamiliar, almost all non-combat skills in Runescape have a chance to acquire a pet when you perform any action of that skill. The drop rates are all extremely low, so it's not usually something you intentionally go for, but rather it just happens as a nice surprise. The woodcutting skill has the beaver. This is the first skilling pet that I've acquired! (There are also boss pets for combat)

Now, goals! Here are my current stats:

Stats from Runescape

And these are my recent achievements:

So here are my goals, in no particular order, some are short-term, others are long-term:

There's quite a lot of content in those goals, but I think most of them are achievable this year. Particularly I'd like to get the quest cape, base 70 stats, and get my first gauntlet kill. 82 fishing is just a matter of time, I chip away at it. I have the materials for 84 construction too, it's also just a matter of grinding through. My only blocker to base 70 stats is runecrafting, which I despise but eventually I'll power through!
