The Honey Pot

Collection IV: Walking on Sunshine

Back to photography

I think this is my favourite so far. What a day! This is the trip that cemented the need for a telephoto lens. I saw so many little birds, but only one robin was brave enough to let me get close for a picture. I also loved the clear blue sky and there was still enough of the morning frost to get some really pretty shots. I went back to JPEG, I enjoy walking and shooting more than processing. I think they came out just fine as JPEGs.

A green mossy path glitters in the sun.

A macro shot of a tall flower's dead head.

A frosted leaf sitting on a black glove.

A robin surrounded by mossy twigs and branches.

A frozen puddle in a muddy path.

A macro shot of a frosted thistle.

A small field of snowdrops stands out above twigs and dead leaves.

Three power lines come together at a terminal, the wooden beams rising out from the bottom of the picture.

The last remnants of dead leaves cling to a tall, proud tree against a bright blue sky.

Three wooden mushrooms stand out in frosted moss.
