Marinated Pork for BBQ
This is a really great marinated pork recipe for BBQs or grilling. It's a Polish recipe and uses some things I only find in Polish shops.
- 1kg pork neck, or just pork chops
- 175ml neutral oil, like rapeseed or vegetable
- 4 tablespoons spicy ketchup (pikantny ketchup from your local Polish shop)
- 4 tablespoons of Maggi seasoning
- 2 cloves garlic, crushed
- 1/4 tsp dried rosemary
- 1/4 tsp spicy paprika
First, tenderise the meat. Pound it as flat as you can.
Mix all the other ingredients together in a large bowl, then add the meat. Try to mix it through so all the surfaces of the meat are covered in marinade, then cover the bowl and leave in the fridge for at least 24 hours.
Take it out and grill until it's fully cooked!
This is good for BBQs, indoor oven grills, or plug-in grills. I usually serve with a couple of salads.
