Easy Pasta
The base recipe is super simple, which I'm going to list here unedited, but below I've included some notes I think makes it better.
- 250g of spaghetti (or any other pasta is fine really)
- 1 tablespoon of dried basil
- 1 teaspoon of salt
- 250g of double cream
- 300g of passata
- 200g water
- 80g of mozzarella
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.
In a large baking dish mix the double cream, passata, water, basil, and salt. Add the spaghetti, then top with the mozzarella.
Bake in the oven for around 35 minutes.
Notes
-
I find the pasta usually doesn't cook well in the sauce like this, so parboil it for a couple of minutes to soften it up. Don't fully cook it, even al dente might be too much. Just get the noodles floppy and then add them to the sauce.

To up the veg count, dice a bell pepper and add that to the sauce too. No need to fry it beforehand, just mix into the sauce with the pasta.
