The Honey Pot

Ritual of Serenity (Scrambled Tofu)

Back to recipes

This is one of the simplest rituals you can perform. Consume for breakfast, lunch or as a random snack when you would like peace and serenity.

Ingredients:

  • 200g-300g tofu (any works, but I prefer extra firm)
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • Optional: Butter, or vegan alternative
  • Optional: Diced onion
  • Optional: Sliced bread or toast

Steps:

  • Add a little butter (or alternative) to the pan and turn on the heat. Once it has melted add the onion and fry until golden, if you are including it.
  • Drain the tofu and add it to the pan. Mash it into crumbs, but be careful to do so gently yet firmly. Do not let your anger seep into the tofu. Try to keep a clear mind if you can.
  • Let the tofu fry. Meanwhile, toast your bread if you are including it.
  • Sprinkle over some salt & pepper to improve the flavour.
  • Finally, spoon the tofu over the toast (again, if you are including it) and eat.
